Eveline studied European Studies and Literary Studies at the University of Amsterdam. In 2011 she made her debut at Prometheus publishers with the novel Onder Pseudoniem. In 2014 she published her second book with the title Het grootste geluk. Her third novel Wie brengt mij naar Mentrum was published in September of 2018.

Abi studied Modern Languages at the University of Cambridge in the UK. Uninspired by the usual graduate life paths, she moved to a new city and started a freelance writing and translating career.

Top of her year at university, Abi’s track record in academia speaks for itself. As a multiple award-winning Cambridge graduate, she’s a reliable resource for transforming rough jottings into work that students are truly proud of. 

Her commercial ghostwriting takes her all over the place: from Amazon consultancy and business entrepreneurship to premium coffee brands, gemstones and jewellery. Whether it’s website content, copywriting or online blogging that’s required, she seamlessly adapts to each new client’s voice.

Translating into English from Spanish, German and Catalan, Abi keeps her horizons broad and herself busy. Her flair for language coexists with a flair for movement: she’s a former National Champion ballroom and Latin dancer.

Abi likes to combine her commercial writing with social outreach work. While living in Spain, she wrote journalistic articles and stakeholder interviews for the International Juvenile Justice Observatory. She has recently collaborated on professional projects with international social development professionals and political dissidents. Currently based in Amsterdam, she volunteers with an organization helping Spanish-speaking migrants find their feet in the city.

After a blue Monday studying psychology, Hedwig decided to get into journalism—and write about people, rather than put labels on them. After her journalism studies, she started as a freelancer at Dagblad De Pers. After that she wrote and writes for De Volkskrant, NRC Handelsblad, Psychologie Magazine, Women's Health, VIVA, Intermediair and Flow Magazine. As a copywriter she has worked with, among others, Google, Knab, Funda, KPN Zakelijk, Zilveren Kruis Achmea and Netflix.

In 2016, Hedwig said goodbye to her life in Amsterdam to travel the world in an old Volkswagen bus with her boyfriend and their two dogs. They hoped that this iconic van would not only take them to places they had never been before, but above all that the accompanying sense of freedom would allow them to escape from their world of entrenched patterns and high expectations. Hedwig recently published her literary non-fiction debut Wat er is: About a great longing for a small life' with Ambo|Anthos publishers.

Because life would be nothing without books, that van contained a modest library that was systematically replenished along the way. Because an e-reader is not everything. In addition to her writing work, Hedwig regularly worked as a bookseller in De Nieuwe Boekhandel in Amsterdam. She was also a jury member several times in the literary competition Manuscripting. Currently, she and her books, and friend and dogs, are on the rugged south coast of Crete – where they have arrived and will never leave.

Lisa Gritter (1982) has been working in the popmusic industry for about twelve years. There she indulges her indomitable urge for interpretation and her love for writing on subsidy applications, marketing plans, copy, reviews and background articles.

She was born and raised in the squatters' village Ruigoord, and not so long ago moved from Amsterdam to the south of the country, Tilburg where it's nice and quiet.

As a critic, columnist and journalist, she writes about music, as well as topics such as mental health. She worked for Vice Magazine, Brandpunt+ and The Daily Paradise (Lowlands' festival newspaper) among others.

According to Lisa, a good story is mainly a matter of finding the core and the right tone of voice. Lisa is obsessed with song lyrics and prefers to have them immortalized in ink on her body.

Born and raised in the United States, David came to the
Netherlands in search of adventure after graduating from University in Colorado. He began writing at an early age, hurriedly scribbling down little stories while dreaming his way through life.

Writing has always been his way of making sense
of the world, something that, for him, will never change.
Whether it’s a song, a comedy set, or a full-fledged book, David’s emotions will always find a way onto the page.

As for books, Mangene has published three: Nooit meer steenkolen Engels, How to not kill yourself, and De buitengewone avonturen van bipolar boy. All three books were written in English and translated for the Dutch and Belgian market. In addition to writing, David is also a teacher, musician, comedian, life partner, and father.
